Incident Details

Three officers were charged with aggravated assault in 2013 following an investigation by ASIRT into an arrest where a man required hospitalization and surgery for the injuries he received. The officers were found not guilty of aggravated assault in 2015, but Angstadt was found guilty of assault, for which he received a conditional discharge including probation for a year, complete an anger management program, and complete a report on role and responsibilities of police officers.
